4-H County Council
Meet your officers:
Mary, President - Hi! I’m Mary! I'm currently 14 and your County Council President. I show Steers and do public speaking, I am also studying veterinary science!! If asked what I wish I knew before joining 4-H, it would be that losing is sometimes the best lesson you can learn. I won’t go into much detail, but sometimes you have to lose in order to win! That’s basically the best lesson life can offer.
Kaydence, Vice President - Hi, my name is Kaydence. I am a 14-year-old senior member in 4-H and your County Council Vice President. I show Goats and Lambs at the county fair, along with many leadership projects. One thing I look forward to teaching members that I wish I knew before joining 4-H is that leadership means stepping out of your comfort zone and trying, even when you’re nervous.
Alandria, Secretary - Hi, my name is Alandria. I am 14 years old and your County Council Secretary. I show lambs and pigs and do numerous indoor projects. If I were asked what I wish I had known before joining 4-H, I would say: don’t be afraid to try new things — especially the things you think you won’t like. Those often end up becoming your favorites.
Bailey, Reporter - Hi I am Bailey. A 15 year old who is your County Council Reporter. I have been showing swine for a few years and multiple other projects. This year is my first year showing lamb. I’m super excited to serve as our county’s reporter. something I wish I knew before 4-H is Understanding isn’t about knowing everything but actually trying.
Emma, Sergeant at Arms - Hey! My name is Emma. I am 14 years old and you're County Council Sergeant at Arms! I am a 4-H Senior Member, currently showing poetry. I do plan to show rabbits and goats in the future too! Before joining 4-H, I wish I knew just how kind and supportive the 4-H community is! Over the years, I've met some truly amazing people and have made many friends along the way! 4-H is a great place to grow and meet new people.
Addison, Recreation Leader - Hi, I am Addison! I am a 12-year-old Junior Member in 4-H, and your County Council Recreation Leader. I participate in Sewing, Leather Craft, Flower Gardening and shoot Archery. If I was asked what I wish I knew before joining 4-H, it would be that you can learn so much more than you're showing animals, 4-H is away more than people realize. I have learned so much in the time I have been here, and I think you can too.
