NMSU Cooperative Extension Service has partnered with the TAP (Training Achievement Program) Series to offer the Food Handler's Certification online and the Food Safety Manager Certification online.

Food Handler’s Online Training and Exam

The Food Handler's Training Course and Exam is taken online; the self-directed course can be taken at your own speed (generally 1.5 to 2 Hours). The cost of the course and exam is $8.

Food Safety Manager Certification Online Training and Exam

The Food Safety Manager Training Course is taken online; the self-directed course can be taken at your own speed (generally 3-4 weeks). The cost of the course is $55. Register at Food Manager Training.

The Certified Professional Food Manager Exam by Prometric can be taken at the San Juan College Testing Center at a cost of $48. To register first call Prometric at 1-800-624-2736 to make payment then schedule your test the following day by calling back or scheduling online at CPFM EXAM.
